Clos des Lambrays is one of the most sought-after regions in Burgundy. Domaine des Lambrays has a near monopoly owning 8.22 hectares of Clos des Lambrays.
The quality of the wines has improved steadily since the 80s, as evidenced by the ratings that are steadily increasing. It should be noted that the ratings of the benchmark critic Parker, for the Burgundy region, are still very modest.
Between 2007 and 2014, the average bottle value has more than doubled and this trend seems to continue through the acquisition by LVMH.
