Description
"Early investors benefit: David Yarrow's sales work on a tiered pricing method. As limited editions, tiered pricing means that the price of an image goes up the closer the edition gets to selling out. This is a critical element when investing in David Yarrow, as investors receive higher returns the earlier they acquire an artwork." - James Kerbey, Expert at Maddox Advisory

About Pride Rock
It combines two striking images. One of them was taken from the top of Pride Rock in The Borana Conservancy, Kenya, and the other was captured 4000 km to the south at Kevin Richardson's famous lion sanctuary.
"The idea behind this photograph was a collaborative effort between my team and Kevin Richardson. Additionally, fundraising for Kevin's crusade was crucial for the project. Why 2019? Because it was the year Disney re-released 'The Lion King.' We wanted to leverage that connection and raise awareness about the difficult situation facing lions," says Yarrow.
Pride Rock is the spiritual home of the movie, and he wanted to work around this physical location similarly to Disney. However, there was a challenge: lions rarely venture onto the rock. Therefore, part of the work had to be done in South Africa. The images had to seamlessly merge in terms of angles and light, and many hours were spent planning at both locations.
The biggest difficulty wasn't the light, as both images were taken with the camera pointing in the same direction, approximately 45 minutes after sunrise. The real challenge was achieving the same trajectory at both locations. To ensure that the angles towards the rock were identical in both places, they even rented a cherry picker in South Africa. The lion's position and posture were crucial, and only Kevin could achieve it. This project was one of the most significant and challenging of his career.
