The Splint Invest community has grown significantly, now comprising 14,427 active users. This expanding user base highlights the increasing interest in alternative investments and the confidence that investors have in our platform.
In terms of assets, we've successfully released a total volume of €19,193,070 worth of investments across our platform. This impressive volume reflects our commitment to offering a diverse range of high-quality assets, ensuring that our users have access to some of the most sought-after opportunities in the market.
Our portfolio now includes 346 unique assets, spanning various categories that cater to different investment preferences. This diversity is central to our approach, allowing investors to explore and invest in categories that align with their interests and financial goals.
Performance Highlights
As of June 2024, the total value of assets managed on Splint Invest stands at almost €20 million. Some of our top-performing categories include Sneakers and Art, which have delivered annualized returns of 25.2% and 22.7%, respectively. Other notable performers include Lego (20.1%), Sport Memorabilia and Trading Cards (both 19.8%), Fine Wine (17.6%), and Cars (14.7%).
While certain categories, such as Rum and Watches, have shown more modest growth with an annual increase of 2.8%, the overall portfolio has achieved an impressive average annualized performance of 15.2%. This performance underscores the potential of alternative assets, particularly in a year where traditional markets have experienced volatility.
Please note: For assets recently released on our platform, we have annualized their monthly performance. While some assets have shown strong initial gains, it's important to recognize that future performance may vary.
Successful Exits and Returns
One of our key achievements this year has been our ability to deliver tangible returns to our investors through successful exits. By June 2024, we facilitated five successful exits with a total value of €321,958. These assets were originally acquired for €268,200, resulting in a net realized return of 20%. The holding periods for these assets ranged from 3 months to 2 years, demonstrating our ability to not only curate valuable investments but also execute strategic exits that generate substantial returns for our users.
