Main reasons to invest

  • Return Potential📈: An investment of 500 EUR is projected to be worth approximately 960 EUR in 7 years.

  • Cost-to-Return Ratio⚖️: With just 3% annual total costs (including exit fees), your net profit could be 9.8% per year.

  • Champagne Drought 🍾: A price increase is anticipated due to declining harvest yields and stock levels over several years, a situation that will worsen as premium houses age Champagne for 8 to 10 years before releasing it to the market, amplifying the impact of the reduced production of the past 8 years.

History and Tradition:
Krug is a prestigious champagne house based in Reims, France. Founded in 1843 by Joseph Krug, it has a long and storied history of producing high-quality, premium champagnes. Krug is known for its commitment to craftsmanship, attention to detail, and dedication to producing exceptional champagne using traditional methods.

Due to its commitment to quality and artisanal approach, Krug champagnes are generally positioned at the higher end of the market in terms of pricing. The house is also known for its attention to detail during the production process, including using small oak casks for fermentation and extended aging on lees to enhance complexity.

Sparkling Wine with Potential:
Krug champagnes are often lauded for their complexity, richness, and aging potential. They are known for their full-bodied and intense flavors, characterized by a combination of fruitiness, nuttiness, and brioche-like notes. Krug also places a strong emphasis on the expression of individuality and the uniqueness of each vintage, which contributes to their reputation for producing some of the finest champagnes in the world.

Krug Champagne Types:
Krug primarily focuses on producing Prestige Cuvée champagnes, which are blends of different vintages and grape varieties, carefully crafted to achieve a consistent and exceptional style. They do not produce a wide range of different types of champagne, but rather focus on their flagship offerings. Krug produces the following main champagnes:

Krug Grande Cuvée: This is the signature champagne of the house, often referred to as the "Multi-Vintage." It's a blend of multiple vintages, grape varieties, and vineyard plots. Krug Grande Cuvée is known for its complexity, depth, and rich flavor profile. It represents the house's commitment to crafting a consistent and exceptional champagne year after year.

Krug Vintage: Occasionally, when the vintage conditions are exceptional, Krug releases a vintage champagne. These champagnes are made from grapes harvested in a single outstanding year and are meant to showcase the unique character of that vintage. Krug's vintage champagnes still maintain the house's signature style of complexity and richness.

Krug Rosé: Krug also produces a rosé champagne, which is an extension of their commitment to quality and craftsmanship. The Krug Rosé is crafted in limited quantities and is known for its elegance, depth, and complexity. It is made using a blend of still red wine and white wine, giving it its distinctive pink colour.

Overall, Krug is celebrated for its consistent pursuit of excellence and its dedication to producing champagnes that stand out for their depth, character, and ability to age gracefully over time.
