Description
Our Williamson whisky was produced at the famous Laphroaig distillery. The distillery has a history dating back to the early 1820s. The name Williamson goes back to Bessie Williamson. She took over the management of the distillery in 1954 and successfully ran it until 1972.
The Islay distilleries have shown the highest price growth in recent years. The popularity of casks from the region does not seem to be diminishing, as the demand for high-quality casks far exceeds the supply on the market. The island of Islay is known worldwide, above all, for the production of exceptional peated single malt. Only a few casks from this island still come onto the market each year.
Accordingly, the demand for casks from Laphroaig is also high. The distillery occupies third place in the ranking of distilleries that show the highest annual increases in value.
