Description

Why Invest in the Glenfarclas Pagoda Series?

Proven Collectibility
When assessing the collectibility of a whisky series, several key factors come into play: a well-known distillery name, limited supply, unique bottle and label designs, and a historical track record of value appreciation for a complete set. The Glenfarclas Pagoda Series Collection meets all these criteria and more.

Prestigious Distillery with Rich History
Glenfarclas is one of Scotland's most renowned distilleries and remains one of the few still independently owned. The distillery's illustrious history is reflected in the bottle design, inspired by the iconic “pagoda-like” kiln ventilation tower developed by Charles Doig. This architectural feature became integral to distillery design across Scotland in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Exceptional and Unique Packaging
This series goes beyond simple custom labels. Each Glencairn crystal decanter is hand-blown and topped with a distinctive pagoda-shaped handcrafted magnetic closure that combines aesthetics with functionality. The decanters are further embellished with silver, showcasing exceptional attention to detail, which naturally led to their limited production.

Highly Limited Production
Only 100 bottles (700 ml) were produced for each of the Bronze, Silver, and Gold bottlings. Due to the extremely limited quantities, most collectors had to go directly to the distillery to obtain these unique bottles. However, we are offering this collection at over 10% below the current available online prices.

Superior Whisky Quality
Beyond limited supply and unique packaging, the true highlight of this collection is the whisky itself. The “youngest” whisky in this set is 43 years old, with the oldest being 59 years old. The casks for these bottlings were meticulously selected by whisky expert and “Keeper of the Quaich” Stephen Notman and George Grant, a 6th generation member of the Glenfarclas Distillery family. Described by the distillery as “quintessential and [the] very finest super-premium aged casks,” the quality of the whisky surpasses any previous Glenfarclas bottling, setting a new benchmark for the distillery's output since the 19th century.
