Main reasons to invest

  • Return Potential📈: An investment of 500 EUR is projected to be worth approximately 1,009 EUR in 7 years.

  • Cost-to-Return Ratio⚖️: With just 2.5% annual total costs (including exit fees), your net profit could be 10.6% per year.

  • Future Supply🍾: The climate in Champagne is changing as a result of climate change, meaning there is an unknown number of quality vintages left to be produced. This puts pressure on an already limited supply.

Description

"Top Champagne, like those featured in this collection, is highly sought after for the simple reason that there is no substitute in the minds of consumers. With current market conditions 'investor friendly' in recent memory, there has never been a better time to incorporate Champagne into an investment portfolio" - Callum Woodcock, Expert at WineFi

Why Investing in the Champagne Star portfolio?
About Champagne
As a core investment-grade wine region, Champagne stands out for one simple reason – there is simply no substitute.
Iconic champagne brands, like those featured in this collection, have timeless appeal both in terms of brand recognition, and fort he simple reason that one does not switch from drinking top champagne to an alternative like prosecco or cava.
In 2023, the champagne markets fell nearly 15%. As a result, this region represents exceptional value to investors looking to enter the wine markets.
The wines in this collection are highly sought after by collectors, and represent exceptional value in a soft market.

Dom Perignon
Dom Perignon is an iconic champagne, named after the eponymous Benedictine monk who played such an instrumental role in refining what would become the iconic sparkling wine we know today today.
The brand’s flagship offering spends at least seven years in the cellar, producing wines of exceptional quality.
We are excited to be offering wines from this iconic producer in ‘magnum’ formats, which often attract a premium at sale due to their ‘crowdpleasing’ characteristics.

Krug Vintage
Krug ages their vintage champagne offerings in the Krug cellars for an average of 10 years, beyond the legal requirement of 3 years.
Only 42,000 cases are produced for their vintage champagne, meaning secondary market availability is incredibly low.
Krug vintage wines are crafted from a variety of wines from a single year, and a re regarded as an ‘expression of that year’ as a result.

Cristal
Cristal has been a status symbol for centuries, first produced for the Tsars of Russia in the mid-1800s.
Like Salon, Cristal is only made using grapes grown in the vineyard’s best years. Since the mid-1990s, Cristal has been associated with the popular music scene – an association with status and luxury that continues to this day.

Pol Roger – Sir Winston Churchill
Pol Roger is perhaps best known as Winston Churchill’s favourite champagne. The great man placed his first order with the champagne house in 1908, ordering a dozen bottles of the famous 1895 vintage.
Following the armistice and the liberation of Paris in November 1944, Churchill met Odette Pol Roger (the wife of the owner of the champagne house, Jacques Pol Roger), who sent Churchill a case of champagne every year for his birthday.
Churchill died in 1965, leaving behind him a grieving country, a street named after him in Epernay, and many bottles yet to be opened in his cellars. After attending the funeral at St Paul’s Cathedral, Odette declared that Pol Roger’s iconic white label should be edged in black by way of a tribute, a tradition that continued for decades.
The iconic champagne house remains family owned, and the cuvée Sir Winston Churchill was first launched in 1984 as a tribute to the great man.
It remains a champagne of exquisite finesse and balance.

Taittinger
The Taittinger domain covers 288 hectares, spread across 37 different vineyards rated among the best in the Champagne appellation of origin ("AOC"). It is still run by the Taittinger family.
This vintage champagne only came to market in 2022, having spent 10 years maturing in the limestone galleries of Saint-Nicaise, a former abbey in Reims.
'Blanc de Blancs' translates as "white of whites", and refers to a champagne made entirely from white grapes -- almost always chardonnay (in contrast to "Blanc de Noirs", which includes black grapes like Pinot Noir). "Brut" simply refers to dry champagne, with less than 12 grams of sugar.

Salon
Salon is a single champagne, with a distinctive green label and serpentine capital, produced from the same vineyards, under almost the same process, for more than a century.
Salon is notorious as being the champagne that, once you have tasted it, ensures that no champagne seems quite equal ever again.
Notably, this champagne house produced no more than 60,000 a year. Even then, it is only produced in vintages that are deemed to be exceptional, and this rarity – along with tiny production quantities – ensure both a cult following and strong historic price appreciation.
