Description

The distillery has a history of 60 years, which is considered young. In the past the name changed frequently from Glen Deveron to MacDuff and back. The distillery is labelled as being a Highland single malt despite being located in the far eastern edge of Speyside. The water used for the production is coming from the River Deveron.

MacDuff was built in 1960 and is considered as one of Scotland's more recent distilleries. In 1992 the destillery was bought by Dewar's which is a subsidiary of Bacardi.
