February 2026 Performance Update

Real Exits, Strong Categories and Top Performing Assets

46 exits. ~28% net ROI. ~14 months average holding period.

These are the realised results investors on Splint Invest have achieved across art, wine, collectibles, watches and other tangible assets.

Unlike theoretical valuations, these numbers come from actual asset sales completed on the platform. Each investment is launched with a clear exit strategy, meaning the objective is not simply to hold an asset, but to sell it when market conditions allow an attractive return.

You can explore all realised sales on our Exits page, where we transparently publish exit prices, holding periods and returns for every completed investment.

What this means for investors

Not every asset moves at the same speed. Some categories appreciate quickly, while others take longer. This is why diversification across different collectible markets is important.

Across the platform today:

  • ~85% of assets are currently performing positively
  • ~15% are temporarily below acquisition price

This variation is normal in alternative asset investing. Over time, strong performers and successful exits tend to drive overall portfolio performance.

Category Performance Overview

Beyond individual assets, it is useful to look at how entire collectible markets are evolving.

In February, several categories showed particularly strong momentum.

Category Performance Overview

Strong performing categories

Luxury Watches

Vintage luxury sports watches continue to benefit from strong global collector demand. Iconic models such as the Patek Philippe Nautilus remain among the most sought-after watches in the secondary market.

Fine Wine

Scarcity continues to support Burgundy wines in particular. Limited production, increasing international demand and several low-yield vintages are tightening supply.

Precious Metals & Gemstones

High-quality gemstones and precious metals remain supported by long-term demand for tangible stores of value.

Trading Cards & Collectibles

Sports memorabilia and vintage trading cards continue to attract collectors worldwide. Scarcity of high-grade examples remains a key value driver.

Vintage Pokémon

Sealed vintage Pokémon products remain one of the most actively traded segments in the collectible market, driven by nostalgia, scarcity and global demand.

Slower-moving categories

Some categories showed more moderate momentum this month, including:

  • Rum
  • Sneakers
  • Travel luggage
  • Certain wine assets

This variation highlights why diversification across categories is important.

Demand for Tom de Freston’s work has been increasing among collectors, supporting the upward adjustment.

Pokémon Collectibles

Performance: +8.4%

Vintage sealed Pokémon products continue to benefit from strong collector demand.

The price adjustment reflects the limited number of Neo Genesis displays currently available on the secondary market, combined with rising global interest in vintage Pokémon collectibles.

François Feuillet

Performance: +15.3%

These bottles were acquired at a 33% discount to market value when released in December.

Performance: +6.3%
